Real Estate & Auction Intern (Paid Position)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Real Estate & Auction Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of real estate and personal property auctions, and transaction management. This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn the operational side of real estate while working alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic environment.
This position will average approximately 25 hours per week, with additional participation required at approximately 4 auction events per month, which may include evenings or weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate auction preparation by scheduling photography, organizing property information, entering listings into MLS, and maintaining auction records.
- Research properties by gathering relevant information including tax records, ownership history, comparable sales, zoning information, and other data needed for auction preparation and marketing.
- Ensure all marketing and advertising materials are submitted accurately and on schedule to meet important deadlines.
- Assist with preparing auction contracts, listing agreements, and transaction-related paperwork.
- Monitor transactions from contract to closing, following up to ensure deadlines are met, closings occur as scheduled, and invoices are processed in a timely manner.
- Review closing documents and commission statements to verify commission payouts and referral fees are accurate.
- Coordinate auction staffing, scheduling team members and workers needed for auction events.
- Maintain organization within the office by filing documents, managing records, and ensuring all paperwork is complete and up to date.
- Serve as a communication liaison between clients, title companies, lenders, real estate agents, attorneys, and other parties involved in transactions.
- Assist with auction-day operations and provide on-site support during scheduled auction events.

- Previous experience in real estate, auctions, administrative support, or transaction coordination is preferred but not required.
